Story: The story takes place after fierce inter-school race.
Sakamichi and other members of the team Sohoku receive an invitation to participate in the Kumamoto Hi Mountain Range Province Race in late summer.
The high-level teams from across the country participate in this race including their rivals, the Academy Hakone, Kyoto Fushimi, and Kureminami Hiroshima and Kumamoto High School team led by Shin Daiichi Yoshimoto.
