Story : Serialized in Akita Shoten's "Young Champion", the manga series is created by Osamu Tezuka (original story), Yoshiaki Tabata (screenplay), and YÅ«-Go ÅŒkuma (manga art), and draws the young days of the strange but genius surgeon Black Jack, the main character of Tezuka's masterpiece and monumental medical manga "Black Jack". Kuroo Hazama, who later becomes Black Jack, wanted to get closer to the surgeon Honma who saved his life as a child, and chose a doctor as a career path and currently hones his skills in medical school. How did he end up as Black Jack, an unlicensed back-alley doctor who demands an absurd amount of money...!? Set in the 1960s, this much-discussed title draws out Black Jack's hidden past!! Other than characters of Black Jack, the characters from other Tezuka titles such as Ribon no Kishi and Dororo appear in a way similar to actors under the Star System to add flair to the series.
