The story takes us alongside three inseparable childhood friends;

Yona Crown Princess of the Kingdom of Koka, Hak the mighty warrior of the tribe of the Wind, and the ingenious Soo-Won, the girl is secretly in love.

However, in its 16 years, Yona witnesses the murder of his father, Emperor He, by Soo-Won, to overthrow the current government.

Begins for the girl a long journey for hope to one day regain his throne.
