Synopsis Manga:

Gintama is a series that parodies with its references the world of Manga (anime, shonen, shoujo, seinen ...) and Japanese news through a feudal Japan that was invaded by extraterrestrials.

While the wearing of the sword became forbidden, in this strange Japan there remain people who refuse to abandon their weapon.

Among them, Gintoki Sakata, a former eccentric samurai who helps a teenager named Shinpachi Shimura, save his sister Tae from a group of aliens who want her to join a brothel.

Impressed by Gintoki, Shinpachi becomes his apprentice and works with him as a handyman in order to pay the rent of Gintoki
